Our story began shortly after we got married in 2005 when three months
following, Mirco’s beloved Babbo, Gino Rossetti, passed away.
In the Italian culture, “Babbo” is a term of endearment for “Dad”.
One year later when our first child was born, the grieving process really
hit Mirco. The realization that our children would never get to meet his
Dad set in. It was at this time of grief, that I decided to create a scrapbook
filled with photos that facilitated stories and that would keep Babbo’s
memory alive. For Mirco, holding the scrapbook, looking at the photos
and reminiscing about the memories shared, helped him tremendously
on his own grief journey.
